拉祜人的好医生 普洱市疾控中心性病、艾滋病科副科长，流行病学副主任医师王春

普洱市疾控中心性病、艾滋病科副科长，流行病学副主任医师王春在疾病预防控制岗位上耕耘34年，她时刻牢记全心全意为病人服务的宗旨，刻苦学习，勤奋工作，在平凡的岗位上做出不平凡的业绩。
1991年以来，王春刻苦学习并掌握艾滋病监测检验和防治技能，积极做好艾滋病健康教育。面对许多人惧怕的艾滋病感染者，王春以一个医务工作者崇高的职业道德，主动去贴近他们，给他们送去党和政府的温暖。一次，王春到医院看望一个艾滋病病人，她坐在病人的床边与其亲切握手交谈，使病人感动得流下眼泪：“你不怕我的病传染给你吗？许多人甚至一些亲友都害怕而远离我，更没有人敢和我握手呀!”。这个病人出院后，王春经常去看望她，与她拉家常，倾听她的心声，鼓励她面对现实，树立信心，积极接受治疗，战胜病魔。
一次，国家级特困县西盟县最贫困的窝龙村发生伤寒、痢疾流行，王春是出征人员赶往疫区工作中唯一的女同志，在艰苦的条件下一干就是十来天，直至控制疫情。疾控工作的特点是下乡多，哪里艰苦哪里就能见到王春的身影。有时下乡公路不通，她就身背药箱走村串寨，一天步行达三四十公里，不论是生病还是特殊情况，从不计较，始终把工作放在第一位。2002年7月，经医院检查诊断，王春患卵巢畸胎瘤，要立即住院手术，王春为了工作一拖再拖，最后在大家的劝说下，她才到医院做了手术，手术后十天，伤口还未痊愈，王春又带着虚弱的身体战斗在工作岗位上。
2003年，在非典型肺炎疫情流行期间，在随时有可能发生接触到非典病人的危险时刻，王春与科室同志一道，主动承担外来人员测量体温、发热病人流调工作，参加完成700多人的检测任务。一名从省外疫区归来的发热病人视为疑似患者留观于医院，王春作为专家组流行病学调查人员，接到对这名患者进行调查的任务时，她不顾个人安危，穿上防护服进到隔离病房开展调查。事后，王春只说了一句话：“我是共产党员，这工作应该由我去完成。”
王春在平凡的岗位上为边疆人民的健康事业谱写了一曲爱的奉献之歌。2001年11月，她获联合国儿童基金会“儿童之友”奖、2002年荣获英国贝利“马丁奖”、2003年获澳大利亚红十字会和中国/云南省红十字会艾滋病预防与关怀项目“无私奉献奖”。2004年享受国务院特殊津贴、2006年荣获全国“五一巾帼奖”、全国“三八红旗手” 、全国“五一劳动奖章”。2007年光荣地当选为党的十七大代表。2008年10月，中共云南省委作出关于开展向王春同志学习的决定。
