河南省长李成玉：将努力保障艾滋病人就业就医

　　英文《中国日报》3月7日报道：河南省省长李成玉表示，河南政府将继续努力保障该省2万多名艾滋病患者和病毒感染者的就业和就医。

　　日前，正在北京参加人大会议的李省长在接受《中国日报》独家采访中透露，政府将尽快提供适合他们的工作岗位，保证他们能够在本县企业里直接就业，尽可能保障他们过上正常生活。

　　据统计，到目前为止，河南大约有35，000人确认感染艾滋病病毒，8000多人死于艾滋。

　　李省长说：“由于艾滋病患者和病毒携带者身体较弱，他们远距离外出打工，体力和其他人不能相比。他们期望着不用再长途奔波到外地，期望就近找到符合他们劳动力情况的岗位和企业。”政府理解他们的需求，也了解这种需求随着更多的感染者开始发病会变得日益迫切。

　　近年来河南部分地方的艾滋病情一直备受全球关注。当地政府对防治艾滋病工作也相当重视。

　　从一开始对艾滋病疫情的全面普查、对艾滋病知识的普及、到对艾滋病病患者和病毒携带者的医疗救治，再到努力解决艾滋孤儿的生活、上学问题和安置艾滋孤老的养老，河南政府一直协同中央政府认真对待，积极投入人力财力。

　　他们的努力不仅受到中央的肯定，在国际上也获得非常正面的评价。
