甘肃预防艾滋病活动走进“采棉专列”

新华网兰州８月２２日专电（记者黄文新、肖正强）为了让外出务工人员了解预防艾滋病的基本知识，甘肃省红十字会组织志愿者踏上了进疆的“采棉专列”。
今年，甘肃预计将有２０余万农民工陆续进疆采棉，由于长时间离开家庭生活，加之采棉期间手头经济较为宽裕，如果不了解艾滋病预防知识，发生不安全性行为的概率将会增加。此次甘肃省红十字会联合兰州铁路局，组织２２名志愿者从“采棉专列”的始发站天水站开始，进入候车室、登上列车车厢，以问卷调查、发放安全套、发放宣传手册以及小礼品的方式，在彩棉工中间普及艾滋病的预防知识。
据了解，截至６月底，甘肃疾控部门统计的艾滋病感染者人数累计达到８２０例。甘肃省艾滋病感染者数量近年呈逐年上升的趋势，与２００８年新发现２１６例的数字相比，２００９年上半年已经确定了１３８例。
感染者当中，传播途径也由吸毒共用注射器为主转为以性传播为主，其中农民、民工和无业人员占到了三分之二。由于相对缺乏生理、心理和卫生知识，所以，在这部分人群当中宣传艾滋病的预防知识就显得非常重要。
