國家發改委價格監視檢查司司長許昆林對此表示，『現階段推進明碼實價的環境和前提已經具備』，經營者有權自己定價，但必需標實價、標真價、標終極成交的價錢。中消協秘書長楊紅燦昨天指出，良多商家習認為常地『不標真實銷售價格』已涉嫌對消費者誤導和欺詐，一些不加節制、愈演愈烈的促銷擾亂價格市場秩序，誘導了消費者的不理性消費。任由商家胡亂標價、漫天要價、隨意漲價，消費者的知情權、選擇權和公平交易權無法保證。
