山东省已报告艾滋病毒感染者1756例

本报济南8月14日讯 14日，山东省艾滋病防治协会在济南成立，这是全国第21个省级艾滋病防治协会。记者从山东省艾滋病防治协会成立大会上了解到，我省自1992年发现首例艾滋病毒感染者起，已累计检测出1756例，目前仍处于低流行状态。
据了解，省艾滋病防治协会是从事艾滋病防治的非政府组织，是由我省艾滋病防治工作者、热心于艾滋病防治事业的社会各界人士和相关企事业单位等自愿组成的全省性学术性社会团体法人。其将在艾滋病防治的宣传教育、行为干预及对病人与家属的关怀帮助等方面发挥作用，其业务主管单位为省卫生厅。
省卫生厅党组成员、省保健办副主任康永军介绍，1992年至1999年，我省艾滋病感染人数呈零星分散的特点，累计报告了52例。而自2000年以后则呈现出快速增长的特点，已累计报告1704例。虽然我省艾滋病疫情仍处于低流行状态，但现在有从高危人群向一般人群蔓延、扩散的趋势，正处于艾滋病防治的关键时期。
省艾滋病防治协会会长王元宁说，省艾滋病防治协会既是政府联系非政府组织的重要桥梁和纽带，也是非政府组织参与艾滋病防治工作的重要平台。他们将围绕我省艾滋病防治工作的重点和难点来开展调查研究、宣传教育、行为干预、学术交流等。（记者 李文鹏）
