中国日报网中国在线消息:英文《中国日报》7月28日报道:大学生李玉(音译)上周在填写献血健康登记表时遭遇尴尬,她因为诚实而失去了献血的资格。今年20岁的李玉在接受《中国日报》采访时说:“我不知道为什么这样规定。我觉得这是歧视。”李玉是一名女同性恋,她在献血前填写性取向一栏时如实填写了自己的情况,但保健中心的工作人员拒绝接收她的献血申请。
中国现行的献血条例以保证血液安全及输血者健康为由禁止同性恋者献血。广州的女性同性恋刘梅(化名)是一位29岁的公司职员,已经与她的同性伴侣同居四年。她上月献血时希望保健中心的工作人员能给她与异性恋平等的待遇。但是,严格的规定迫使她在健康登记表上隐瞒了实情,否则她就没有资格献血。她说:“我在性取向一栏隐瞒了真实情况,他们才能抽我的血。”

中国研究同性恋问题的著名学者张北川建议用更加理性和精确的语言代替献血条例中部分过时的用语。他说:“条例中的‘同性恋’应当改为‘与男性发生性关系的男性’。”他表示,因为艾滋病在男性同性恋及男性双性恋群体中出现比率极高,是总人群的50倍。出于对输血者健康的考虑,强制将这一部分群体排除在献血人群之外的做法是可以理解的。他补充说:“这样做也符合国际惯例。但女性同性恋感染艾滋病病毒的可能比普通人群还低。她们应当获得与其他人平等的公开献血的权力。”(中国日报记者单娟编辑 裴培 张峰)
