　　央视10月17日《共同关注》栏目对近日网络上盛传的“艾滋女”事件做了报道。央视特约评论员杨禹在直播节目上就此做出评论。他表示，医疗卫生主管部门应主动作为，认真核实所谓“艾滋女”向279人传播艾滋病的说法是否属实，以避免可能发生的公共卫生事件。同时，此事也再次暴露出，海量信息既是网络的生命力所在，也是网络的局限性所在。

　　杨禹表示，过去相当长一段时期里，社会公众“谈艾色变”。随着科学知识的逐步普及，现在公众能够比较冷静客观地对待艾滋病的威胁了。但在这一“艾滋女”事件中，有关的公共安全维护者，必须做到“谈艾色变”。因为不怕一万，就怕万一，如果此事为真，那么事实上就已经形成了一条艾滋病传播蔓延的链条，已酿成了一起在一定范围内的公共卫生安全事件。根据我国在2006年颁布的《艾滋病防治条例》，县级以上人民政府的卫生主管部门，有责任对本辖区内涉及艾滋病的各种信息做出搜集、甄别和反应。在这个网上信息尚未得到核实的时候，卫生主管部门不应无动于衷、袖手旁观，而应主动出击，以便将可能发生的对公共卫生安全的威胁，及时遏制住。

　　杨禹进一步分析说，这一“艾滋女”事件还存在另一种可能，那就是此人并未得病且传播，而是在做一种对自我的网上炒作。杨禹表示，近期网络上出现的类似的真假难辨之事非常多，事实上也是对公众时间、精力的一种浪费。如果这位“艾滋女”没得病，那么就是我们的网络“病”了。网络作为一个新鲜事物，它的生命力来自于它所能提供的海量信息，而网络的局限性，也来自于海量信息。公众不得不付出极大的成本，去甄别一些关键的或根本无用的信息。前些天，胡锦涛主席在世界媒体峰会上指出，新的媒体形式越来越多，各种媒体都要做负责任的媒体。现在，所有的网民都可以在网上发布信息，从某种意义上说，大家都成了媒体同行。网络真正长久的生命力，最终还是来自于在真实基础之上的海量信息。大家还是要一起来想想办法，怎么让网络信息更加真实。
