The MCAS Miramar and the World’s largest Military Air Show is held every year on OCT. 3,4,5. yesterday at the help of the church, most of our classmate went there. Just as the Americans usually used the Air Show is amazing indeed.

It is held in San Diego, very near to where we lived, so it’s very hard to have a nap in daytime, for the thunder of the airplanes seldom stop during the days.  By the way, Americans seldom have naps for they only have a very short time for lunch.

There are so many booths selling clothes, caps, sunglasses, toys and so on. They are not as expensive as those in the stores; some said it is only for advertisement. Newchen bought a pair of sunglasses for only $5.

The Air Show place is so large that many of us departed soon after we entered. Different kinds of planes flying one by one very quickly that we couldn’t catch them with our cameras. Even in such quick speeds, some times 6 planes altogether, they could hit the targets exactly at the same time. The Marine Air-Ground Task Force mainly in charge of dealing with the fire on the ground.

Parachute jumping are also amazing,  It brought great fan for the people. What’s more, we didn’t need to pay for the shuttle, and the beverages are offered free, that is an advantage for American citizens, because the government will turn back some of the taxes to the tax payers.

In a little booth, there were a push-up competition, the winner would get some little prize there, I did 60 without a break and won 5 little gifts for me and my colleagues.
