1月26日下午，市防治艾滋病工作委员会办公室、市卫生局组织召开了“2010年北京市防治艾滋病工作委员会成员单位联络员暨艾滋病防治政策宣讲会”，会议由北京市卫生局疾控处谢辉副处长主持，市防艾委26个成员单位联络员、18区县防艾办负责同志共计50人参加了会议，市卫生局赵涛副巡视员出席会议并做重要讲话。
会上，谢辉副处长首先对2009年我市艾滋病防治工作进行了总结，部署了2010年艾滋病防治工作重点及督导考核工作。与会同志对《2010年北京市艾滋病防治工作要点》（征求意见稿）、《关于对2009年度全市艾滋病防治工作情况进行联合检查的通知》（征求意见稿）进行了研讨，各部门、各区县防艾办根据各自职责，对下一步我市的艾滋病防治工作提出了建设性意见，如：市公安局提出在全市歌舞厅的点歌器的开机提示内容中加入预防艾滋病的宣传、计生委提出利用计生系统网络在全市社区服务站增加安全套免费发放设施、市卫生局提出加大对党政领导干部的培训力度等、团市委、市红会提出将我市的防艾志愿者队伍纳入统一管理，发挥更大的作用。
最后，市卫生局赵涛副巡视员做了重要讲话并提出了要求：近年来，艾滋病防控工作受到了各级政府、领导的高度重视，北京市的艾滋病防控工作在各部门的配合下，在全社会共同参与下，取得了一些成绩，疫情快速增长的趋势有所减缓。下一步工作重点，就是要进一步整合全市艾滋病防治工作力量，充分发挥各部门优势，加大对全人群的宣传教育，提高艾滋病防治知识知晓率，加强检测监测力度，落实各项针对高危险行为人群的干预力度，提高治疗的覆盖面和治疗，降低艾滋病的新发感染率、降低艾滋病的病死率、进一步提高艾滋病感染者和患者的生活质量。
同时，市疾控中心的专家还结合当前国际、国内的疫情形势，以及《艾滋病防治条例》、艾滋病防控工作措施等内容进行了艾滋病防控政策宣讲。
