In 2000, Liang Hao passed thirties, began studying for doctoral degree, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, the direction of the epidemiological study.

Ph.D. study, he began to focus AIDS "Century problem." He felt that with the increasingly severe AIDS epidemic, AIDS is not only a medical problem, and even evolve into social and political problems.

The second year of Ph.D. study, he applied to the best domestic AIDS research laboratories - the STD and AIDS prevention and control center for further study.
