这个“病”给杨诚带来了极大困扰，“春节回广西的家，我都不敢和家里人一起吃饭，都是分餐制，以避免将‘病’传染给家人。因为有的病友家里人也感染上了。”

“我每天都担惊受怕”
在南京也有这样的自称患病的“感染者”，罗海（化名）是其中之一。罗海是一名在校大学生，贵州人，“患病”已经一年多了。据他介绍，自己还没有好转的迹象，每天都在担惊受怕。“我现在全身肌肉感觉萎缩了，人瘦了很多，舌头发白。骨头疼。已经检测了三次HIV，结果都是阴性。”

记者了解到，称患有“阴滋病”的“患者”，即使在多次检测HIV病毒均为阴性结果后，他们却坚持怀疑自己得病，而且是受到了“未知病毒”的感染。记者联系到一名外地的广东“患者”，在一个月里，做了七次HIV检测，都是阴性结果。
这些病患描述的共同特征是“骨头疼、肌肉痛、舌头发白、免疫力低下，有的甚至走路，骨关节都能发出咔咔的响声”，多数有不洁的性接触。

一名病友透露了江苏淮安一名39岁的“老驹”的联系方式。“病友”介绍，“老驹”的病情最重，圈子里都知道。记者电话采访了“老驹”，他告诉记者，这病的传染也不一定都是通过性接触，“我‘感染’这个疾病，就是与性一点关系没有，得‘病’已经有一年半了，最初根本没有往什么艾滋病方面想。由于骨头疼、神经疼，最初怀疑是类风湿，但是去医院检查，所有结果都没有什么异常，后来在网上查找，发现了与我一样的病友不少。我现在头就非常疼。”

深圳的王强（化名）是某次采集血样的59人之一，他告诉记者，2009年11月，他们将情况反映给卫生部门后，得到了回应。卫生部门召集了60人在北京地坛医院体检，其中一人不知什么原因没有来。2009年底，检查结果出来了，没有发现什么异常。专家因此认为这病主要是精神因素所致。今年1月份，王强从别的病友处听说，那一批血液样本已经送到了美国。
王强告诉记者：“我是2008年3月初出现症状的，至今都淋巴结肿大，没有什么性接触，怀疑是同事传染的，因为当初去医院看病，恰巧就碰见了同事，两人的病情几乎一样。”

卫生部：
已采集59人血样
此前媒体的报道也证实了王强的有关采集血样的说法。据报道，近日，卫生部疾病预防控制局相关负责人接受媒体采访时表示，北京、上海、浙江、湖南、江苏、广东六省市已开始对所谓“阴滋病”进行流行病学调查，分析具体病因。纳入流行病学调查的各省疾控中心在多个地方采集的59个患者血液，已送往美国的化验室进行检测。

在记者的采访中，无论是罗海还是“老驹”，都不在这份名单里。“老驹”告诉记者：“江苏大概只有两个人在59人名单里，但是都没有联系方式，一时很难联系上。”
江苏卫生厅：
检查结果都是正常
江苏省卫生厅有关人士介绍，按照卫生部提供的名单，他们在今年3月迅速成立专门的调查小组，并建立了科学、严谨的调查方案，通过手机和网络与江苏的7名“自述感染艾滋病”者进行了联系。但是其中有两名拒绝调查，实际调查人数为5人，而5人中，有一人不愿意接受CD4（免疫功能）指标检测。
经过检查，5人的艾滋病检测均为阴性，而且免疫功能也都是正常的。尚无证据表明他们感染了新的病毒。据介绍，目前，5人的生活、工作并不受影响，也无需住院调查。调查过程中，专家也同时给予了心理疏导。5人对当地卫生部门表示了感谢。
江苏省卫生厅人士表示，对于此事，他们今后仍然会密切高度关注。更详细的结果可能要等待国家卫生部门公布，因为江苏只是其中的调查省份之一，而且样本量偏少。
没有“阴滋病”之说疑为“恐艾症”
南京第二医院感染科主任医师姚文虎告诉记者，没有“阴性艾滋病”这一说法，艾滋病抗体检验不呈阳性，怎么能称为“艾滋病”？另外，很多人在高危行为后，心理上比较恐惧。“我们临床上也有这样的患者，总是感觉紧张，身上有皮疹。不排除这是人在精神压力大的情况下，免疫系统变差，导致疾病乘虚而入。”
江苏省人民医院感染科主任医师周东辉也表示，没有“阴性艾滋病”这一说法，也不能因为一些人高危性行为后出现皮疹、淋巴结肿大就认为有新病毒。
江苏一位专家还指出，这些人症状虽然描述很仔细，但是基本上都是主观感受，通过医学检查如果没有任何异常的话，可能主要是由“恐艾症”引发了躯体症状。
有媒体报道称，中国艾滋病防治专家桂希恩认为，觉得自己感染上未知病毒的人群中，至少有一部分人有心理障碍。
而据香港媒体报道，广州市卫生局副局长、广州市传染病研究所所长唐小平也认为，目前医学上并无“阴性艾滋病感染”，他强调如果艾滋病抗体检验不呈阳性，就不可能是艾滋病或者艾滋病变种。
