雅培第四代艾滋病检测试剂盒获FDA批准

晨报讯美国食品和药物管理局FDA近日批准了雅培研发的革命性艾滋病诊断工具――ARCHITECT HIV Ag/Ab Combo检验试剂盒。它将帮助医生更早确诊艾滋病患者，从而赢得治疗时间。
该检测试剂盒能同时检测HIV抗原和抗体。HIV抗原是感染HIV病毒后立即产生的蛋白质,抗体则在人体感染病毒一段时间后,机体为抵御病毒而产生。研究证明,雅培的这种新型诊断试剂盒比单纯抗体检测试剂盒能更早地检测出HIV病毒。
机体在感染病毒后短时间内是最具传染性的,而相当一部分新感染HIV病毒的病人是被未获得诊断的急性HIV感染者传染,所以更早地诊断可以减少高危传染行为,同时也可以尽早开始抗感染治疗。
美国疾病控制和预防中心CDC研究表明,由于无法检测抗原,某些高危人群中多达10％的艾滋病病毒感染者无法被现有的HIV抗体检测试剂检出。然而,雅培的新型诊断工具能检测HIV p24抗原或直接检出HIV病毒，能在抗体产生前更早地诊断HIV感染。
雅培早在1985年就发明了全球首个艾滋病病毒抗体检测试剂盒,随后推出第二、第三代免疫和分子诊断试剂,而现在又研发了美国首个HIV抗原抗体联合检测试剂盒.
据悉，这一新型诊断试剂盒在欧洲也已获得了批准并得到广泛应用，成为公众常规体检项目。英国的艾滋病病毒诊断指南明确推荐临床医生将这种检测作为一线检测方法。
