普通手术变得很特别建新医院上周四完成一例艾滋病犯手术

阑尾切除在外科领域算不上大手术，但10月28日傍晚，在福建省建新医院（省监狱管理局中心医院）开展的这台急性阑尾炎阑尾切除手术却显得很特别——病人是一位艾滋病患者，同时也是一名服刑人员。
当天上午，这名艾滋病犯突发急性阑尾炎，在当地监狱卫生站进行输液治疗后，病情未见好转。为保障服刑人员权益，省监狱管理局果断要求立即将病犯送到福州接受手术治疗。
对此，主刀医师林国辉解释说，输液治疗即便有效果也只能暂时缓解其病情，复发的可能性很大。尽管为艾滋病人做手术，医护人员风险很大，但只有手术才能彻底解决问题，而且当时如果不及时手术就很可能危及病犯生命，所以医院决定当天立即实施手术。
据了解，这已经是建新医院自2001年起，实施的第8例艾滋病人外科手术，也是林国辉医生主刀的第6例艾滋病人手术。该院是我省收治艾滋病犯、开展艾滋病人手术最为集中的医院，医院为此还配置了专用的手术器械和消毒设备。
