云南首创艾滋病毒检测新法 检测HIV成本仅1元

目前,国际上HIV-1新发感染的检测方法有很多种,但大多数方法复杂且价格昂贵。由云南省疾病预防控制中心李洪等人首创的微量明胶颗粒凝集HIV-1近期感染检测方法(PA-LS)却是一种简单、便宜且易于推广的HIV检测新方法。“用这种方法检测一份样本成本只需要一元钱。”李洪说。
创 新
新方法可判断感染时间
据李洪介绍,目前国际上常用的HIV检测方法主要检测被测者是否感染艾滋病病毒,而不能检测出感染艾滋病病毒有多长时间。“但是这个方法可以检测出哪些是HIV-1近期感染者,哪些是长期感染者。”
“初筛为HIV抗体阳性,经过WB(HIV感染确认方法)确认是HIV感染后,用PA-LS法能够判断出感染者是在半年内感染艾滋病病毒的,还是在半年以前就感染上了。”李洪说,艾滋病也是一种传染病,在一定时间、一定人群中进行艾滋病病毒感染检测,如果能较为清楚地区分哪些是长期感染,哪些是近期感染,就能计算出该人群HIV的新发感染率。
“计算出新发感染率,就能够帮助掌握艾滋病传播的流行动向、流行速度和趋势变化,对评价和评估艾滋病防治措施、投入效果有非常重要的作用。”他说。
成 本
检测一份样本仅一元钱
据李洪介绍,PA-LS是在明胶颗粒凝集方法(PA)的基础上建立的。PA是世界上公认的一种简单、方便检测诊断HIV感染的方法,价格也比较昂贵。
经过研究发现,改良后的PA方法在节约费用近数十倍的情况下,仍能保持较高的敏感度和特异性。“课题组通过研发,把检测一份HIV感染样本的PA试剂经过改良,就能用于检测三四十个HIV-1近期感染样本,这样就大大降低了成本。”李洪说,目前国际上有20多种检测HIV-1近期感染的方法,检测一份样本的成本大约是40元至200元不等,“但PA-LS成本只需要一元。”
操 作
无需仪器可用肉眼判别
“只要培训半天,HIV初筛实验室的工作人员都会做。”李洪说,目前国际上所使用的方法都比较复杂,微量明胶颗粒凝集法(PA-LS)则“不需要仪器设备,结果可以用肉眼判别,而且非常易于推广”。
李洪进一步介绍,虽然已经通过了研发试验,但是,如果要广泛推广应用,还需要进行更多的现场研究,特别是与国际上公认的一些方法进行比较性研究。“预计明年能有结果,希望云南和其他省市能够广泛应用。”(记者 杨质高 实习生 高旖)
