全球邮政网络将启动预防艾滋病宣传

国际在线消息（记者 付旭）：联合国艾滋病规划署7日发表公报宣布，艾滋病规划署与万国邮政联盟、国际劳工组织以及全球工会联盟共同发起了一项通过邮政网络进行艾滋病预防宣传的全球运动。
联合国艾滋病规划署执行主席西迪贝表示，目前全球每天新增艾滋病感染者超过7400人，因此急需加强预防工作。拥有66万个邮局的全球邮政系统是一个无与伦比的网络，它广泛接触大众，向所有人都开放，因而是宣传艾滋病预防的绝佳平台。
在这项运动第一阶段，将首先在巴西、布基纳法索、喀麦隆、中国、爱沙尼亚、马里和尼日利亚7国的24000个邮局展示和分发有关防艾信息。2010年第二阶段将聚焦于对邮政系统庞大的员工群体进行宣传。2011年第三阶段将邀请万国邮政联盟会员国发行邮票，纪念1981年艾滋病的首次发现和命名。
