英国艾滋病病毒携带者人数再创新高

新华网伦敦１１月２７日电（记者黄堃）英国卫生防护局２７日发布艾滋病年度报告说，英国艾滋病病毒携带者人数持续上升，２００８年估计已达８．３万人。

报告说，这一数字包含已确诊携带艾滋病病毒的人数和尚未确诊的人数，估计约有２７％的人还不知道自己是艾滋病病毒携带者。２００７年，英国艾滋病病毒携带者估计为７．７万人。

报告说，在新增艾滋病病毒携带者中，男同性恋人群是一个高危人群。除性传播外，毒品注射、输血和母婴传播等都成为艾滋病病毒感染的主要途径。

    卫生防护局提醒说，在去年新增的艾滋病病毒携带者中，约三分之一的患者由于诊断时间较晚，延误了最佳治疗时间。专家呼吁那些怀疑自己携带艾滋病病毒的人们应尽早接受诊断和治疗。
