一个社会和国家文明不文明,不仅体现在对弱者的态度上,也体现在对社会和国家功臣的态度上。
对于弱者,社会越文明,必然越具有人道主义关爱精神。一个欺凌弱者的社会,与丛林社会是没有什么区别的。另外,对社会和国家的有功之臣,能不能有感恩心态,也体现了一个社会和国家的文明水平。比如,对有学术贡献的大学者和大思想家,社会能否给予应有的尊敬;对有战功的人,在和平时期能否也能得到应有的尊敬;对一些劳动模范,能否给予实质的尊敬,而不仅仅是面子上的;等等。若一个社会,表现为“狡兔死,良狗烹;高鸟尽,良弓藏;敌国破,谋臣亡。”这样的状态,是很难被定义为文明的。
社会如何更加文明,良心是基石。没有良心的社会,必然是功利主义的,必然是机会主义的,必然是悲剧的循环。
如何解决良心问题?文化建设是基础工程。其中,敬畏、理性、诚信意识,是良心的三大支撑,也是文明社会的三大支撑。
