今天就一个提法跟大家交流一下。

“尊师重教”被普遍认为是中华民族的传统美德，在历朝历代都得到大力提倡。这里本人认为，“尊师重教”这个提法值得商榷，更为准确的提法应是“尊德重教”。下面谈谈理由。

    第一，尊重不应基于职业原则，而应基于道德原则。从职业角度看，士、农、工、商等各个行业的人，在人格上都是平等的，应当互相尊重，没有必要对某一行业的人给予特别的尊重。另外，若尊重不是基于道德原则，而是基于职业原则，则对于教师这一职业中一些不讲道德的老师，我们又该如何去尊重？另外，现实中还存在的一个问题是，“尊师重教”这个提法也为一些老师变相寻租提供了一种借口。

第二，我们在提倡尊德的同时，也要提倡对教育这个行业给予特别的重视。这里重视与尊重是不同的。为什么要更加重视教育，因为教育行业从事知识的传承，而知识是第一生产力，理应受到足够重视。

综上所述，本人的观点是，把“尊师重教”提法改为“尊德重教”，表述更为准确。
