2011年8月7日，北京京城皮肤病医院第五届皮肤性病学术研讨会在北京国家会议中心三楼报告厅隆重召开。此次会议由北京京城皮肤病医院主办、北京市朝阳区医学会协办、中国预防性病艾滋病基金会支持，会议主题是：交流、提升、创新。大会吸引了20多位国内权威皮肤病专家和近500位各地专业医师代表参加。
北京京城皮肤病医院第五届皮肤性病学术研讨会会场分为上午、下午两个部分。上午8：30，简短而隆重的开幕式拉开了会议的序幕。大会主席、北京京城皮肤病医院领导吴美先为大会致开幕词，中国预防性病艾滋病基金会会长李朝林、北京市朝阳区卫生部门相关领导罗晓以及朝阳区医学会会长殷青莅临大会并讲了话，中国医师协会会长殷大奎发来祝词。

此次第五届学术研讨会邀请到了世界卫生组织驻华代表处项目官员何景琳、中国工程院院士俞梦孙教授、上海中山医院皮肤科原主任秦万章教授、中国中医科学院广安门医院皮肤科原主任庄国康教授、复旦大学附属华山医院皮肤科副主任项蕾红教授、北京协和医院皮肤科原主任王家璧教授、中国协和医科大学北京协和医院皮肤科科主任孙秋宁教授、北京协和医院皮肤性病科主任医师晋红中教授、北京大学第三医院皮肤性病科主任医师雷鹏程教授、朝阳疾控中心十一五、十二五国家重大专项课题项目负责人李东亮教授等业内权威专家。
大会还特别邀请到中国医学科学院皮肤病研究所原所长、北京京城皮肤病医院名誉院长叶干运教授莅临会议现场。此外，北京京城皮肤病医院特需门诊专家蔡有龄教授、陈学荣教授、庄逢康教授等人也光临了此次大会。
大会期间，专家们为与会人员带来了10场专题讲座，来自北京、上海、广东等全国各地的近500名皮肤科医师聆听了讲座，并利用会休时间就工作中遇到的疑难病症向专家们请教咨询，也得到了专家的详细指导。大会主持人殷致宇教授在大会闭幕式上表示，此次大会视野广阔，观点论证充分，涉及了诸多热门、前沿的疾病和技术，是一次高水平的学术交流。她对各与会人员到来表示了感谢，并希望今后以大会为平台，增进全国各地医生的交流和合作，为皮肤医学事业做出更大的贡献。

此次大会主题明确，内容丰富，形式多样，既有专题讲座版块，又有专家的解答疑难、临床经验交流和代表参观访问等活动。整个大会气氛热烈，形式新颖，互动性强，充满了浓厚的学术氛围。
大会上，专家们通过专题讲座把多年的研究成果和掌握的最新诊疗技术和与会代表做了分享，并与代表们一道就当前皮肤性病诊疗技术发展以及临床应用等问题进行了广泛深入的交流和互动。会后与会代表都表示，通过交流活动，他们得到了国内权威专家教授的指导和建议，提高了自己的诊疗水平，为以后更多、更好、更快治愈患者积累了丰富的皮肤病治疗经验。不论是权威专家还是基层医师，都纷纷称赞这次大会开得非常成功，非常实用。此次会议的成功举办，对于推动国内皮肤病诊治技术的发展，提高皮肤科医师的临床和研究水平，都具有重要意义和深远影响。
会议午休时间，与会代表还纷纷到北京京城皮肤病医院参观。有一个连续参加了三次学术交流会姓王的代表表示，自2009年开始，他每次参加这个学术研讨会都要上医院来转一转，每次也都有新变化。他最后称赞该医院：“发展速度越来越快，就医环境越来越舒适，专科门诊越来越细分，医院服务越来越周到。”
此次大会能够胜利地落下了帷幕，离不开社会各界的大力支持。同时与会领导、专家、医师也对本次大会给与了高度的评价，都纷纷表示期待明年继续召开和参加这样的会议。
