比利时暂停向涉嫌丑闻的艾滋病防治全球基金捐款

新华网布鲁塞尔6月6日电(记者王晓郡)据比利时弗拉芒文《晨报》6日报道,比利时将暂停向涉嫌贪腐丑闻的抗击艾滋病、结核病和疟疾全球基金提供捐款。这一国际机构重点资助艾滋病防治项目,掌管全球防治艾滋病国际捐款的四分之一。
最近3年,比利时每年向这个基金捐款约2000万欧元。比利时日前表示今年承诺的2100万欧元捐款能否在年底前兑现,取决于该基金的审计结果。如果审计证实贪腐丑闻,捐款将用于资助其他国际组织。
