比利时暂停向涉嫌丑闻的艾滋病防治全球基金捐款

新华网布鲁塞尔６月６日电（记者王晓郡）据比利时弗拉芒文《晨报》６日报道，比利时将暂停向涉嫌贪腐丑闻的抗击艾滋病、结核病和疟疾全球基金提供捐款。这一国际机构重点资助艾滋病防治项目，掌管全球防治艾滋病国际捐款的四分之一。
最近３年，比利时每年向这个基金捐款约２０００万欧元。比利时日前表示今年承诺的２１００万欧元捐款能否在年底前兑现，取决于该基金的审计结果。如果审计证实贪腐丑闻，捐款将用于资助其他国际组织。
同一天，人道救援组织“无国界医生”比利时负责人热罗姆·奥伯莱特表示，将在８日举行的联合国艾滋病问题高级别会议上发出呼吁，敦促艾滋病疫情最严重的国家以及捐资国强化它们的承诺。他说，在过去１０年时间里，艾滋病防治取得了辉煌成果，中低收入国家的６６０万艾滋病患者得以接受治疗。
