新疆遏制艾滋病蔓延 在11地州市开展抗病毒治疗

中新网乌鲁木齐5月8日电 (记者 陶拴科)记者8日从新疆维吾尔自治区卫生厅获悉，今年起，新疆全力遏制艾滋病进一步蔓延的势头。截至目前，新疆卫生部门已经在11个地州，47个县市开展了抗病毒治疗工作。
新疆卫生部门表示，从2011年起，新疆对艾滋病防控重点地区住院病人进行100%艾滋病筛查。年初制定了相应防控措施，加大了宣传力度，开设自愿咨询检测点442个，已完成17875人次的艾滋病自愿咨询检测，在11个地州市，47个县展开了治疗工作，截至目前，累计对4667人开展了抗病毒治疗。
新疆卫生疾控中心负责人表示，今后新疆将继续把预防艾滋病传播放在最根本的位置，把重点地区和人群作为防治关键，全力遏制艾滋病进一步蔓延的势头，医疗部门将进一步加大筛查力度。
资料统计，截至2010年底，新疆累计报告艾滋病病毒感染者33149例，累计报告感染者人数位居全国第五，人均感染率位居全国第二。(完)

Statistics, as of the end of 2010, Xinjiang had reported 33,149 cases of HIV infection, the cumulative number of reported infections among the nation's fifth ranked second in per capita infection rate. (End)
