全球新感染艾滋病病毒人数较此前下降19％

据新华社内罗毕3月31日电 （记者王雅楠 袁亮）联合国秘书长潘基文31日在内罗毕发布最新全球艾滋病防治进展报告时说，2001年至2009年，全球范围内新感染艾滋病病毒人数较此前下降19％，至少33个国家新增艾滋病患者比例降幅达25％，全球抗艾行动取得显著进展。
潘基文在报告中说：“截至目前，全球每天还有7000人感染艾滋病病毒，其中1000人为儿童。全世界所有国家无一例外都没有逃脱艾滋病这一全球性传染疾病的侵蚀。”
但抗艾方面取得的积极进展依然明显。潘基文说，2001年，全球艾滋病病毒感染人群呈现不断增长趋势，防治药物在大多数艾滋病问题严重国家匮乏。现在，全球艾滋病问题最为严重的10个国家已经实现青年人口感染率下降25％的目标。
与此同时，2009年全球抗艾资金总投入达159亿美元，这一数字在2000年时仅为3.5亿美元。南非作为全球艾滋病病毒感染者最多的国家，已计划今年投入抗艾资金10亿美元。
