巴哈马获得美国250万美元防治艾滋病基金额度

《拿骚卫报》2010年6月25日报道，24日，巴哈马卫生部长休伯特·明尼斯与美国驻巴哈马大使Nicole Avant签署协议，允许巴哈马政府使用“美国总统救助艾滋病患者紧急计划” 基金中的250万美元额度用于巴哈马居民的艾滋病防治。
“美国总统救助艾滋病患者紧急计划”项目于2003年，由美国前总统乔治·布什创立，为期5年，筹集150亿美元用于全球艾滋病防治。2008年该项目进一步扩展至450亿美元、为期五年（2009-2013年）的全球爱滋病防治计划。
根据协议，未来5年巴哈马可以申请使用1.25亿美元紧急计划项目基金，今年可使用160万美元，明、后年每年可使用45万美元，额度不能延期累积使用。

Bahamas, the U.S. 2.5 million U.S. dollars the amount the Fund to Fight AIDS

"Nassau Guardian," June 25, 2010 report, 24, Bahamas Minister of Health in the Bahamas and the United States off 伯特明尼斯 Ambassador Nicole Avant signed an agreement to allow the Bahamas Government to use "the U.S. President Emergency Plan AIDS Relief" fund amount of 2.5 million U.S. dollars in the Bahamas residents for AIDS.
"U.S. President Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief" project in 2003 by former U.S. President George Bush created a period of 5 years, raising 15 billion U.S. dollars for global AIDS. The project expanded in 2008 to 45 billion U.S. dollars, a period of five years (2009-2013) global AIDS program.
Under the agreement, the Bahamas the next 5 years can apply for an emergency plan to use 125 million US dollars project funds, this year can use the 1.6 million US dollars, Ming, and the year after a year to use 45 million cumulative amount can not be extended.
