中澳与多国合作开展跨国界艾滋病防控

新华网浙江频道9月30日电（记者 张乐）中国及其周边的多个国家目前正通过和澳大利亚政府开展合作，共同防控艾滋病的传播。
记者从29日在杭州举行的“中澳卫生与艾滋病项目‘提高应对流感大流行应急能力’国际论坛”（International Forum on Improvement of Response Capacity Against Influenza Pandemic）上获悉，作为中澳卫生与艾滋病项目（China-Australia Health and HIV/AIDS Program，简称CAHHP）的重要内容之一，这项艾滋病防控项目目前正在中国的云南、广西等边境省份进行。
该项目为期五年，主要在中国的云南、广西等边境地区展开，内容包括警察的培训、同伴教育，以及安全注射器的交换等。“我们希望通过这几方面的工作，有效降低吸毒人群因为共用不洁针具所导致的艾滋病流行和传播。” 中澳卫生与艾滋病项目的项目经理董胜利（Victor Dong，Facility Manager China-Australia Health and HIV/AIDS Facility）说。
除此之外，澳大利亚与中国还与老挝、缅甸、泰国等其他五国政府共同在湄公河流域开展艾滋病防控合作，共同遏制因为吸毒行为所导致的艾滋病传播。
董胜利说，金三角地区吸毒人数较多，因吸毒导致的艾滋病患者人数也因此较多。在湄公河领域进行合作，有特别的背景。“更重要的是，这一地区国家间的跨边境活动贸易活动频繁，因此，在这一地区开展艾滋病控制具有特别的意义。”
他表示，传染病的防控没有国界，因此，通过跨国界合作的方式共同探索如何更好地控制艾滋病，具有积极意义。（完）
