1、由于生活质量的改善，中国人普遍的寿命都更长，身体也更健康。因此，老年人，特别是老年男性的性活跃年龄会持续更久。这应当是整个社会和每个家庭成员都应正视的现实，老年人和年青人一样，需要有正常感情生活，需要有正常的满足渠道。
可是，多年来人们都认为人老了就不该想那事了，人老了不就是有个说话的伴不就行了吗？可是多长久的婚姻生活中，也还会离不开那件众所周之的事。而现实生活中，很多老伴面对老头子的要求，客气的会指着老头的鼻子说：“老不正经”，不客气的那就会破口大骂：“老不要脸”的，而子女们和社会，似乎也在刻意回避老头们的这一合理需求问题。既然得不到亲人的关爱和社会的理解，有些老头就只好出门找那些暗娼、妓女去“满足”需要了，哎，老头也是人呀！！！

不难看出，造成老头们艾滋病比例上升的问题，不仅仅是一部分老同志晚节不保，意志不坚定，缺乏正确的人生观，没有积极健康的生活方式所造成的，在我们面对这样的报道，很多人批评这些老年失足的老头子们的时候，是不是也该想想是什么原因造成了他们出这样的问题？！该如何帮助老头子们，特别是孤独的老头子们安度晚年呢？！
