《喀麦隆论坛报》9月25日报道，为加大中非地区艾滋病防治力度，扩大德国与该地区国家的合作，德国驻喀麦隆大使Karin-Elsa Blumberger-Sauerteig 代表德国政府与中非经济与货币共同体委员会(CEMAC)主席安托万？恩斯米（Antoine Ntsimi）签署协议，德国政府向该组织提供2300万欧元（合156.5亿非郎），用于该地区开展艾滋病防治工作。

　　该项目始于2006年，第一期为3个国家即喀麦隆、乍得和中非。本次德国提供的资金用于第二期合作项目，金额为第一期的四倍，项目将覆盖中非经济与货币共同体6个国家。
