Many countries in Africa, many people will thumbs-up to bring Chinese medicine, and praised the Chinese doctors as a "physician." For decades, Chinese medicine in African countries to develop and promote, in order to lift the African people played a significant role in pain.
To South Africa as an example, in South Africa in 2001 to establish the legitimate Chinese medicine
Places, the local Chinese medicine has been the rapid development of Johannesburg, there is now only more than 50 Chinese medicine clinics. Health institutions in South Africa statistics show that South Africa is currently at least 1000 registered Chinese medicine doctors, including the use of Chinese medicine treatment that medical doctor. In Kenya, although the development of Chinese medicine is still in its infancy, but traditional Chinese medicine for some complex diseases, and chronic treatment of the good word of mouth is civil.
60s from the last century, China has dispatched a number of African medical team, including doctors of Chinese medicine. Their hard work and excellent skills gradually to enable Chinese medicine practitioners for the African people are familiar with and accept. In some countries, from the head of state, government officials to ordinary people, have become a loyal supporter of traditional Chinese medicine.
For a very wide spread in Africa, a number of infectious diseases, traditional Chinese medicine reflect its unique effect. Tanzanian President Julius Nyerere any season in the last century 80's made the invitation during his visit to China, Chinese experts came to Tanzania in 1987. So far, the Chinese medicine treatment of AIDS in Tanzania for over 20 years of history, so that the treatment of patients with AIDS逾万名to obtain good results. As a treasure of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture treatment is in Africa was widely welcomed. From East Africa to West Africa, Mali, Tanzania, from Zambia in southern Africa to North Africa, Tunisia, acupuncture and many countries in Africa are renowned for. To Mali as an example, the Chinese ambassador to the local medical teams have treated only have a thousand local officials, including advisors to the president, Minister of Foreign Affairs and so on. In Tunisia, acupuncture famous, people call the "神针." Members were treated to alleviate pain, to the Tunisian Minister of Health suggested the country's development of acupuncture in China. Chinese medicine practitioners in Africa are in addition to saving lives at the local, but also focus on training local people learn traditional Chinese medicine. The African people are also very pro-active, scrambling to leave for the Chinese system of traditional Chinese medicine theory and methods of learning. Since the 60s of last century, more than 1,000 African students learning Chinese medicine in China, and some even got a master's degree and a doctorate in Chinese medicine.
Sekou Camara of Guinea who is the leader in one of these. In 1973, Camara bid farewell to the Atlantic coast of his hometown, to the distant and mysterious China can learn from. He first studied at the Beijing Languages Institute (now Beijing Language and Culture University), then in Zhongshan, Guangdong Medical College (now the Sun Yat-sen University School of Medicine) medical undergraduate students. Returned to the motherland in 1980, working for some time, Camara in 1982, Zhongshan School of Medicine to re-enter with a 4-year professional specializing in acupuncture. After returning, Camara started acupuncture committed. In his efforts, acupuncture has a long history of this Chinese medicine in the distant land to take root in Africa, Fukuzawa people.
Nevertheless, the development of Chinese medicine in Africa is still facing some problems, such as the number of qualified Chinese medicine is too small, too small for Chinese medicine clinics, some people are still unfamiliar, such as Chinese medicine. However, taking into account the low cost of Chinese medicine, side effects, such as small and user-friendly advantages, together with the large number of students learning Chinese medicine practitioners for the exchange and cooperation in Africa provides a good foundation for China-Africa cooperation in the field of Chinese medicine to improve the prospects.
