美争论冻结对华医研资助 称资助最大债主中国难以接受

　　据悉，美国国家卫生研究院是世界上从事生命科学研究最重要的研究机构之一，在美国联邦政府研发经费中的份额仅次于国防部。由各地教会组成的美国保守派组织“传统价值联盟”近日发布对该研究院进行的为期6个月的调查报告称，国家卫生研究院在过去10多年里向中国资助了9000多万美元的研究经费，其中有3000万美元是过去2年半中提供的。这些经费主要用于中国大学和研究机构的科研人员从事与中国公民有关的医学研究。保守派媒体“新美国人”网站也报道称，这已是“传统价值联盟”针对美国国家卫生研究院开展的第二次调查。“传统价值联盟”指控说，该研究院“花2000万美元，用于中国性工作者的艾滋病调查”。根据该组织的报告，国家卫生研究院在2003年至2008年间向中国的一个研究机构资助了1700多万美元，在中国云南省对420个性工作者和她们的241个“顾客”进行艾滋病状况调查，平均每个被调查者花了2.6万多美元。
