联合国报告说全球有500万青少年感染艾滋病

新华网约翰内斯堡６月１日电（记者邵海军）联合国儿童基金会等１日在约翰内斯堡发布报告说，２００９年全球约５００万１５岁至２４岁的青少年感染艾滋病，１０岁至１９岁年龄段人群中，艾滋病病毒携带者为２００万人。
在这份题为《危中寻机：阻止艾滋病从少年向青年蔓延》的报告指出，撒哈拉以南非洲是青少年艾滋病高发地区，２００９年全球青少年新增的８９万艾滋病病例中就有６９％分布在该地区。此外，妇女是高发人群，全球青少年艾滋病病例中妇女约占６０％。
联合国儿童基金会东部和南部非洲地区总裁哈吉·阿马杜·盖伊·赛在发布会上说，性和毒品注射是青少年艾滋病传染的主要途径。失业、贫穷、无法融入社会、缺乏家庭关爱等使得很多青少年过早从事性交易，大大提升了艾滋病的感染风险。
报告显示，在过去几年中，全球在遏制青少年艾滋病蔓延方面取得一些成绩。２００１年，全球感染艾滋病的青少年共有５７０万，２００９年这一数字将至５００万。报告还说，但这与２００１年设定的在２０１０年将青少年艾滋病感染病例降低２５％的目标相距甚远。
报告建议各国采取９项措施防止和减少青少年感染艾滋病，其中包括强化青少年性教育、倡导健康生活方式、增加青少年保护立法，加强艾滋病患者信息采集和服务提供等。
这份报告由联合国儿童基金会、联合国艾滋病规划署、联合国教科文组织、联合国人口基金、国际劳工组织、世界卫生组织和世界银行共同发布。

The report recommends that States take measures to prevent and reduce the nine young people infected with AIDS, including strengthening youth sex education, promote healthy lifestyles, increasing youth protection legislation, strengthening information collection and AIDS service delivery.
The report by UNICEF, UNAIDS, UNESCO, the United Nations Population Fund, the International Labour Organization, the World Health Organization and the World Bank release.
