葛兰素史克与盐野义的艾滋病新药进入Ⅲ期

葛兰素史克与其合作伙伴日本盐野义制药株式会社(Shionogi)的艾滋病（HIV）新药整合酶抑制剂，近日已进入Ⅲ期临床试验阶段。两家公司的分析家坚信，这一新药将会在2013年进入市场。
整合酶抑制剂可以阻断HIV病毒复制所需的遗传信息，是治疗艾滋病的重要药物。默沙东已经生产了自己的整合酶抑制剂Insentress，去年的销量达到7.52亿美元。美国加州独立生化公司吉利德科学公司(Gilead)有一个极具竞争力的产品，目前也已进入Ⅲ期试验。
在HIV药物领域，葛兰素史克是一个先驱者，并且长期主导着市场，不过近来这家英国公司已感受到巨大的竞争压力。为了重新确立自己在HIV药物领域的竞争优势，葛兰素史克去年与辉瑞共同组成了合资企业ViiV Healthcare。S/GSK1349572就是ViiV Healthcare公司参与开发的一种整合酶抑制剂。同时，葛兰素史克将会把S/GSK1349572与其他艾滋病药物如可比韦做成复方制剂，以确立自己在HIV药物领域的竞争优势。（生物谷Bioon.com）
