艾滋病病毒发现者：艾滋病患未来可望消除病根

中新网上海8月11日电 (陈静 陈颖颖)作为艾滋病病毒的发现者之一、2008年诺贝尔生理学和医学奖得主、联合国教科文组织预防与研究国际基金会主任卢克·蒙塔尼耶11日在上海接受采访时透露，经过系列抗逆转录治疗的艾滋病患者，可通过一项探测致病源DNA诱发的电磁波技术，检测其体内残留的艾滋病病毒，然后根据检测结果，服用相关药物可消除其病根。
卢克·蒙塔尼耶当天在此间出席“健康与城市国际论坛”。他表示，目前该项技术尚未应用于临床治疗，还需要大量的样本实验和长时间的验证，两到三年后或可实现临床应用。
他并指出，艾滋病病毒抗药性强，且种类变化迅速，目前还没有疫苗可以预防。他说，仅仅将希望寄托在通过疫苗预防艾滋病是不够的，还需要通过其他多种方式进行抗击。
这位专家还建议此间有关机构在年轻人性成熟期之前进行相关教育，使其了解艾滋病的危害，养成正确的生活方式，避免感染艾滋病。
另外，在联合国扶持发展中国家预防艾滋病方面，卢克·蒙塔尼耶认为，联合国有关方面应该更加经济地使用财政资源，将资金更多地用于艾滋病基础研究，找到艾滋病病根，并改善发展中国家卫生状况，提高当地民众的生存质量及其免疫力。
