抗病毒治疗对HIV确有疗效

我省累计已对192名艾滋病患者开展此疗法绝大多数病人临床症状得以改善
本报讯(记者赵汇)目前艾滋病诊治工作中面临的最大问题在于HIV感染者未能及早开展抗病毒治疗，如果尽早接受治疗，他们完全可以像正常人一样生活、工作、结婚、生子，寿命也大大延长。记者从5月24日在兰州召开的全球基金艾滋病项目媒体宣传资料开发研讨会上获悉，截至4月底，我省累计治疗艾滋病病人192人，其中死亡26人(2例在非治疗期间死亡)，停止治疗27人，现正治疗139人。经治疗，绝大多数病人临床症状得以改善，能准确反映人体免疫力状况的CD4T淋巴细胞数均有回升。
据了解，CD4T淋巴细胞是人类主要的免疫调节细胞，也是艾滋病病毒攻击的主要对象。人体感染了艾滋病病毒后，主要症状就是免疫系统遭到破坏，CD4T淋巴细胞大量丢失。从2005年1月开始，在国家免费抗病毒治疗项目的支持下，本着自愿原则，我省开始对省内报告的部分艾滋病病人进行免费抗病毒药物治疗。通过监测艾滋病病人CD4T淋巴细胞数量，科学合理地给予抗病毒药物治疗，取得了很好的疗效，大大提高了他们的生活质量，减少了有可能发生的多种并发症。
由于大多数艾滋病病人以及感染者患病后很悲观，认为治不治都是一死，何必吃药受罪。对此，省疾控中心主任医师席沧海解释，抗病毒药物是有一定的副作用，但完全可以通过其他辅助手段解决，如果能够在医生指导下坚持科学服药，完全可以有效控制艾滋病进程，抑制艾滋病病毒。世卫组织一项研究表明，抗病毒治疗能使病毒浓度降至原来的万分之一，从而使病毒传染性降至原来的1/25，这就意味着如果更多的病毒携带者能够尽早接受抗病毒治疗，那么新增感染病例就会减少。遗憾的是，我省很多艾滋病病人接受治疗时都到了中晚期，不仅影响了自身的治疗效果，也增加了感染他人的几率。对此，他呼吁，有高危行为的人群应当及时主动到疾控或医疗卫生机构进行咨询检测，如发现感染了艾滋病病毒，要按照医生建议，尽早开始抗病毒药物治疗。
