1月21日,世界卫生组织驻华代表蓝睿明博士和全球基金项目亚太区负责人AmelieJoubert女士到南宁市对防治艾滋病的相关工作进行考察。
当天下午,蓝睿明一行先后参观了广西绿城彩虹中心、衡阳西路北一巷的社区药物维持治疗门诊、西乡塘区全球基金项目第四轮艾滋病项目针具交换中心三个防治艾滋病的机构。
广西绿城彩虹中心是由南宁市疾病预防控制中心和美国家庭健康国际共同资助的公益性促进"同志"健康的草根组织。从2006年成立至今,中心已举办外展2000多次,覆盖2万多人次,免费发放安全套8万多只,免费为2447人次提供了健康体检。
在西乡塘区针具交换中心,蓝睿明一行考察了针对吸毒人员的针具交换工作。据了解,南宁市吸毒者中男性吸毒者居多,男女性吸毒者的比例大约为7∶3。南宁市从2006年开始,开展了多项工作,MSM(男性性行为人群)对艾滋病知识的知晓率显著提高,从70%提高到90%,自觉检测艾滋病的意识显著增强。
南宁防艾工作者无私奉献的精神给两位专家留下了深刻印象,蓝睿明对南宁市针对特殊人群防艾工作取得的成效表示了肯定。他表示,中国整体的艾滋病感染情况并不严重,但是特殊人群、重点人群的风险还是很大,对这些人群的防治工作特别需要重视,艾滋病防治工作需要政府和非政府组织通力合作,多方面展开防治。(记者田艳实习生王东刚)
