　　眼看着爱子饱受病痛折磨，40多岁的父亲老侯心疼不已，这是他最小的儿子，这些年为了给孩子治病，东奔西走，老侯要比同年龄的人明显苍老许多，但很少有人知道，其实他只是孩子的养父。

　　女子借口住店遗弃孩子

　　一切都开始于2004年5月16日的那个早晨。7点多，当时在无锡周山浜地区一家小旅馆做服务员的杨林同往常一样开门迎客。这时，进来一个30多岁、抱着孩子的女子声称要住店。该女子同时提出她要到旁边的小店买点东西，希望杨林能帮她暂时照看一下孩子。年轻的杨林不加思考便答应了。

　　杨林口中的“侯老板”就是老侯，那一年他38岁，已经是4个孩子的爸爸。
