中澳卫生与艾滋病项目柳州启动鼓励做艾滋病检测

柳州讯(记者毛秋雁)昨日,由中国疾病控制中心性病控制中心与澳大利亚合作的“中澳卫生与艾滋病项目”在柳州启动。柳州市卫生部门将在原来快速筛查梅毒的基础上,为筛查者做艾滋病检测。该项目旨在促进艾滋病的检测、监测和干预。

今年4月,柳州市和广东江门市在全国率先启动《以筛查为重点的梅毒防治示范项目》,为有需要的人士提供快速的免费梅毒筛查。“中澳卫生与艾滋病项目”则在原来梅毒筛查诊治服务基础上,鼓励接受HIV检测。此外,柳州市艾滋病自愿咨询检测点也加入了梅毒筛查项目,发现梅毒患者及时给予诊疗。通过整合艾滋病检测咨询和梅毒筛查策略,提高艾滋病检测的可接受性,扩展艾滋病咨询和检测途径,达到整合性病防治和艾滋病防治的目的。
