　　国际在线消息(记者朱曼君)：第五届国际艾滋病协会艾滋病发病机理及防治大会于当地时间19日晚在南非立法首都开普敦开幕。本次会议将主要围绕如何加快最新抗艾科研成果应用并使之向中低收入国家倾斜等议题展开讨论。

　　大会主席、国际艾滋病协会主席蒙塔内尔在会议开幕式上表示，全球抗击艾滋病的活动“正处在一个不进则退的关键时刻”，目前存在“人体免疫性缺损病毒”(HIV)大爆发的“现实威胁”。

　　与会人士普遍认为，由于各国政府减少在抗击艾滋病方面的资金投入，使全球抗艾工作面临重大挑战。

　　国际艾滋病协会在会前散发的一份新闻简报中表示，受全球金融危机影响，不少国家减少或取消了早先做出的增加抗艾投入的承诺，使得全球抗艾形势空前严峻。

　　5000多名来自世界各地的研究人员、相关从业人员以及“抗艾”机构负责人将参加为期4天的会议。南非副总统莫特兰蒂出席了会议开幕式并致欢迎词。

　　International online news (朱曼君reporter): The Fifth International AIDS Society AIDS pathogenesis and control of the General Assembly on the evening of 19 local time, the legislative capital, Cape Town, South Africa, opened.
