中国首个由政府支持的同性恋酒吧开业

法新社北京电 一家慈善组织20日称，因媒体密切关注而被迫推迟三周开业的中国第一家由政府支持的同性恋酒吧已经开始营业。同性恋话题在中国依然十分敏感。
大理HIV/艾滋病预防和健康协会的创办人张建波对法新社说，这家同性恋酒吧已于20日在中国西南地区云南省的旅游重镇大理低调开业。该协会在幕后发起创办了这家酒吧。
该酒吧旨在为同性恋人群能在轻松的氛围里彼此相见和获得关于如何预防HIV/艾滋病的相关信息提供场所。
当地政府为张建波的慈善机构投资了12万元（1.76万美元），在政府的支持下，这家酒店原定于12月1日的世界艾滋病日开业，但这个消息引来媒体的密切关注后，志愿者被迫延期提供服务。
张建波说：“我们的志愿者们察觉到媒体的关注度没有那么高了以后，最终决定开业。”
同性恋话题在中国仍然极为敏感，2001年以前，同性恋被官方认定为一种精神疾病。
同性恋男女觉得很难向亲人朋友坦白身份。其中一个原因是“计划生育”政策使得父母们将传宗接代的希望寄托在他们唯一的孩子上。
中国卫生部本月早些时候警告说，HIV/艾滋病在同性恋群体中的传播速度正在加快。
张建波是大理一家医院的医生，他早前在接受法新社采访时说，提高对同性恋群体艾滋病的关注度“极为重要”。
官方报纸《中国日报》说，2005年中国的同性恋人数约为3000万，但它坦言很少有同性恋愿意承认自己的性取向。
官方通讯社新华社说，来自政府部门和学术报告的声明认为中国的同性恋人群数量约为1500万。
