艾滋病防治专家呼吁减少职业暴露事件发生

新华网武汉１月１９日专电（记者黎昌政）临床上外科医生在给外伤病人做完急诊手术后，通过检查才发现病人是艾滋病病毒携带者的事件并不少见。著名艾滋病防治专家、武汉大学中南医院教授桂希恩呼吁，要减少对艾滋病病毒感染者的歧视，这样才利于减少职业暴露事件的发生。
艾滋病职业暴露是指医务人员、实验室工作人员、防疫人员、公安及其他监管人员，在诊治艾滋病病毒感染者及相关工作中，意外被含有艾滋病病毒的血液、体液等污染了黏膜或破损的皮肤，或被含有病毒的针头刺破皮肤。
湖北自２００３年在武汉大学中南医院成立“艾滋病职业暴露安全药品储备点”以来，５年中共发生艾滋病职业暴露事件８０余起，由于有效地采取了阻断措施，尚无一人感染艾滋病。
该储备点负责人桂希恩教授介绍说，被含有艾滋病病毒的针扎后的感染几率为０．３３％，黏膜表面暴露的感染几率为０．０９％，而被艾滋病病人咬伤后感染几率介于这两者之间。一旦发生以上情况，应立即服用阻断艾滋病病毒传播的药物，可使被感染率降低７５％。
