Tomorrow we will have a presentation of the 4 week end. Everybody should prepare sth. interesting, at least to David. 7 of my colleges has finished their presentation, some of them use slide shows and only 2 of them didn’t use that.

The subject maybe not our majors, but it should be sth. special. Though now my major is history and culture, I’d like Chinese characters, after all, it has been my major before, and what’s more, I’ v been teaching this class for many years, it’ s my favorite topic.

So at last I choose ancient Chinese hieroglyphs as my topic. I prepared lots of pictures and made a very beautiful slide show. I know that slide show means only something, It can help to make a good presentation and also has its weakness. Because the presenter will mainly depend on the slide show and so couldn’t give as much eye contact as usual to the audience. The presenter will read the sentences in the slide show instead of speaking naturally as the do in Chinese.

The grades will be ABCDE,which means excellent, very good, good, fair and poor,and the teacher gave us some handouts for comments. I know that sb. got B plus and some got C.

Tomorrow it will be my turn, I have to polish my slide show and try to make it perfect.
