“中国石文化艺术家”、“中国赏石抽象画的开创者”马鸿斌简介
1992年4月20日，新加坡美术界奠基人之一、著名艺术家，“南洋画派”的开创人、画坛先驱及新加坡最高荣誉的卓越勋绩服务勋章获得者， 被艺术大师刘海粟先生称为“我最爱的弟子和亲密的知友之一”的刘抗先生致函称赞马鸿斌：

刘抗先生曾任新加坡中华美术研究会会长，新加坡艺术协会会长，新加坡文化部咨询委员会主席等职务。他年轻时应刘海粟先生之邀在上海美专任教，当时年仅23岁的刘抗与山水画大师黄宾虹及著名画家潘天寿、谢公展、汪亚尘、张弦、倪贻德、陈人浩等为同事，分别担任中西绘画的老师。
2006年8月24日，马鸿斌先生担任总策划、设计和书法题字的《印象广西》银制纪念章（编号为No. 0001934）及其由马鸿斌先生书写的长约5米多的原创书法《印象广西》长卷被广西壮族自治区博物馆永久收藏，编号1934寓意广西博物馆创建于1934年。

1997年10月7日，被中国广西壮族自治区工艺美术学会大师评审委员会授予“广西石艺艺术大师”。他长期从事天然赏石、奇石、史前文物及石器、古生物化石的保存、收藏与研究工作。在赏石文化艺术的学术理论研究、评论、赏石文化的弘扬、宣传与推广、赏石文化活动的组织、策划与实施以及促进海内外和东西方赏石文化的交流与合作等方面有多方推动。多次担任中国各地石展评委，多届中国赏石暨国际赏石展组委会及柳州国际奇石节组委会聘为特邀顾问、专家组著名专家、专家委员会委员、学术组委员和嘉宾。中国风景园林学会花卉盆景赏石分会评为“首批中国赏石名家”，“首届中国石文化专家学术研讨会”授予“中华石文化贡献奖”，中国收藏家协会石文化专业委员会授予“观赏石名家”荣誉称号。1993年起，事迹入典《中国收藏界名人辞典》、《中国当代藏石名家名品大典》等多部人物和艺术辞典。
2001年5月，应邀在加拿大温哥华举办“中华文化艺术展览——赏石文化展览”，并到加拿大多伦多、尼亚加拉、渥太华等地访问。加拿大雅石会授予“现代石人”荣誉牌匾等。2006年9月，马来西亚盆景古石协会聘请担任“马来西亚（吉打）首届创会盆景古石展赛会”之“古石评委”，并到马来西亚吉隆坡、槟城州的乔治市、霹雳州的太平、吉打州的峨仑市、吉打州的州府亚罗士打市及古邦巴素、马六甲州的马六甲市、云顶高原等地访问。
1979年8月，品国画大师吴作人先生和黄胄先生作的国画作品而作七言诗开始热爱书画艺术。1981年，大学一年级起，开始临历代名家书法字帖及练习现代硬笔书法，创作名人铅笔素描并在大学师生书画展览获奖。选修大学“造型设计”课程，学习艺术设计理论和色彩学。他长期致力于赏石书画艺术的研究与创作，将中国传统赏石文化艺术的元素和精髓与中国传统书画艺术的元素和精髓融合起来，形成独特的赏石书画风格。
1990年开始，研读荣宝斋编辑出版发行的《荣宝斋画谱》（系列国画大师画谱）之黄胄、张大千、白雪石、董寿平、傅抱石、黄宾虹、范增、林风眠、朱屺瞻、石鲁、徐悲鸿、吴冠中、吴作人等艺术大师以及世界著名艺术家赵无极等人的画册，对东西方抽象艺术的历史发展以及世界著名抽象艺术家作品有独特的认识。1992年起，曾翻译过美国著名艺术评论家对世界著名抽象艺术家出版的回顾作品集的多篇评论文章。他开创了“明朗流畅，立意高远”的“中国赏石抽象画”（即“赏石画韵”中国彩墨画系列），还创作了“磅礴气势之行云流水，隽永意韵之空灵奇拙”的石文化书法系列，被海内外有关机构和人士广泛收藏，具有极高的文化艺术价值和收藏价值，被称为“中国赏石抽象画的开创者”和“中国石文化艺术家”。

In August 24, 2006, the No. 0001934 of Certificate of the Silver Plating Souvenir Badge of GUANGXI CHINA that is general mastermind，design & inscription by Mr. Ma Hongbin and the long coil original calligraphy GUANGXI CHINA ( about 570 Chinese characters), essay was indited and calligraphed by Mr. Ma Hongbin is permanently collected by Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Museum. No. 0001934 is symbolized Guangxi Museum was established in 1934.
Ma Hongbin, A Chinese Artist of Stone Culture, was born in Nanning, the provincial capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the People’s Republic of China in July 21, 1963, was a graduate of college and was awarded the Bachelor’s degree of Engineering. He is a figure of the circle of appreciating stone in China and makes a great achievements in many aspects, such as academic theory study and comment of ornamental stone culture, carrying forward, propagandizing and popularizing the ornamental stone culture, planning, organizing and carrying out the activities of appreciating stone culture and promoting the oriental and west cultures exchange and cooperation at home and abroad.
