中新网2月19日电 据香港特区政府网站消息，香港食物及卫生局局长周一岳表示，男男性接触社群染艾滋病病毒的个案近年急剧上升，在每年录得的300-400宗艾滋病病毒个案中，以男男性接触作为主要感染途径的约占30%。
鉴于全球及香港有关男男性接触社群中感染艾滋病病毒的个案均有上升趋势，香港2007-2011年期间推行的5年艾滋病策略，优先处理有关的预防工作。
周一岳18日在男男性接触社群感染艾滋病病毒技术性研讨会上表示，在男男性接触社群中，不安全性行为十分普通，他们大部分不知道自己是否带有艾滋病病毒。他指出，就全球性而言，缺乏知识、否认、治疗途径不足及来自对男男性接触的歧视甚至刑事化的社会压力，均令感染艾滋病的风险及机会增加。
周一岳表示，香港特区政府一直采取多方面的策略，预防及控制艾滋病，包括监测、预防与健康宣传，以及治疗与关怀受感染人士。

York Chow said the HKSAR Government has been adopting various strategies to prevent and control AIDS, including monitoring, prevention and health promotion, as well as treatment and care of infected persons.
