联合国官员表示愿继续积极支持中国艾滋病防控

    国际在线消息（记者潘莹）：“第六届中国艾滋病防治国际合作项目经验交流会”31日在北京举行。联合国艾滋病中国专题组主席、联合国艾滋病规划署驻华办事处国家协调员马克·斯特林表示，中国在艾滋病防治方面仍面临许多挑战，联合国在华机构愿继续积极为中国的艾滋病防控事业提供支持。
    马克·斯特林高度赞赏中国艾滋病防治工作近年来取得的进展，但他强调，中国仍面临着感染者检测率、治疗比例有待提高，以及针对目标人群的干预仍需进一步深入等挑战。他指出，当前中国大约只有三分之一的艾滋病感染者接受过检测并了解自己的病情；只有三分之一到一半的艾滋病人和感染者获得治疗，男同性恋者、性工作者以及吸毒者等高危人群中，获得治疗的感染者和病人数量尚不到一半。
    “第六届中国艾滋病防治国际合作项目经验交流会”由中国卫生部与联合国艾滋病中国专题组共同主办。本次大会邀请了近180余位来自国际组织、国际合作项目以及越南、老挝和柬埔寨等周边国家的卫生专家及项目官员参会，介绍和分享艾滋病防治工作实践及合作经验。
    截止到2011年9月底，中国累计报告艾滋病病毒感染者和病人42.9万例，其中病人16.4万例，死亡8.6万例。

     Mark Stirling spoke highly of China's AIDS prevention work in recent years made progress, but he stressed that China is still faced with the detection rate of infection, the proportion of treatment needs to be improved, as well as interventions for the target population still further and other challenges. He pointed out that only about one-third of China's current HIV test and received about their condition; only a third to half of people infected with HIV access to treatment, male homosexuals, sex workers and drug users and other high-risk populations, access to treatment of those infected and the number of patients was less than half.
     "The Sixth China International Cooperation AIDS project experience exchange" by the Chinese Ministry of Health and UN Theme Group on HIV co-sponsored by China. The conference invited nearly 180 participants from international organizations, and international cooperation projects in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia and other neighboring countries, health officials, experts and project participants to introduce AIDS prevention and control practices and sharing of experience and cooperation.
     As of end of September 2011, China has reported HIV infections and 429,000 cases of patients, including patients with 164,000 cases, 86,000 cases of death.
