中国累计报告艾滋病病毒感染者和病人42.9万例

　　中新社北京10月31日电 (记者欧阳开宇张子扬)截至2011年9月底，中国累计报告艾滋病病毒感染者和病人42.9万例，其中病人16.4万例，死亡8.6万例。中国卫生部部长陈竺31日在北京透露上述信息。

　　陈竺在当天举办的“第六届中国艾滋病防治国际合作项目经验交流会”上指出，虽然从总体上看，中国艾滋病疫情仍处于低流行状态，但局部地区和特定人群已进入高流行状态，经性途径传播成为主要传播途径，特别是男性同性性传播上升速度明显。

　　陈竺说，艾滋病病毒感染者陆续进入发病期，晚期病人死亡增加，艾滋病流行对中国部分地区经济和社会的影响逐渐显现。

　　“中国政府一直高度重视艾滋病防治工作，注重对其的领导和协调。”陈竺说，经过多年努力，“政府组织领导、部门各负其责，全社会共同参与”的防治机制已初步形成，艾滋病疫情快速上升的势头有所放缓，病人病死率有所下降，防治效果逐渐显现。

　　陈竺表示，中国将深入分析与准确把握艾滋病流行态势，有效遏制艾滋病的流行蔓延，将继续加强国际交流与合作，为全球实现千年发展目标，遏制艾滋病的流行，作出应有的贡献。(完)
