　　本报讯（记者郑灵巧）历时5年的中英艾滋病防治及策略支持项目日前如期完成。在10月30日国务院防治艾滋病项目办公室于北京举行的项目总结会上，卫生部副部长尹力称，该项目的实施有效提高了我国应对艾滋病的战略能力，有力促进了艾滋病相关政策和策略的制定和落实，扩大了艾滋病防治的覆盖面和效果。

　　据介绍。该项目由英国国际发展部、澳大利亚发展署共同支持，于2006年6月启动，投入2700万英镑和250万澳元。项目支持了云南、贵州、青海等12个省的艾滋病防治政策制定、部门合作、机制建设和信息交流等工作，并与全球基金项目结合，对云南、贵州和四川等7个省以高危人群为主的干预防治进行了支持。

　　英国驻华大使馆副大使胡克定、澳大利亚驻华大使馆副大使梅耕瑞、联合国艾滋病规划署国家协调员马克出席会议并致辞。

According to reports. The project is funded by the UK Department for International Development, jointly supported by the Australian Development Agency, launched in June 2006, invested 27 million pounds and 250 million Australian dollars. Project supported the Yunnan, Guizhou, Qinghai and other 12 provinces of AIDS policy formulation, sector, institution building and information exchange, etc., combined with the Global Fund project, Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan provinces in seven high-risk population intervention for primary prevention support.

British Embassy Deputy Ambassador Chris Wood, the Australian Embassy Deputy Ambassador Mei Rui Geng, UNAIDS Country Coordinator Mark addressed the meeting.
