　　晨雾下的关爱中心。这里原来是湖南仪表总厂，有两栋红色砖头建的楼房，现在改成了洪江区关爱中心，是39位艾滋病患者的家。

　　12月8日，恬恬把她的芭比娃娃放在秋千上，自己蹲在后面注视着。这里的设施都很简单，除了学习一些简单的课程，孩子们能玩的东西其实很少，更多的时候，他们是在关爱中心的院子里找野花，玩呼啦圈。其实，他们的内心渴望拥抱，渴望爱。

　　孩子们是懂得感恩的。常常会体谅到修女的辛苦，做饭的时候，娜娜主动在一旁帮忙。

　　晚上大家一起唱起生日歌，今天是娜娜七岁生日，在这里修女会为每个艾滋病人过生日。

　　曾经有人说，这世间最动听的一句话不是我爱你，而是在一起。希望，从今以后，当遇到艾滋病患者的时候，你我的爱心能实现这个美丽的期许，也希望，从今天起，你我能伸出援助之手。

导读：也许有的爸爸妈妈认为艾滋病与儿童没什么关系，但是实际上儿童也是艾滋病的受害人群之一，更令人心痛的是，人们对他们的关爱却是缺失。

　　艾滋病是一个令人谈虎色变的疾病，但是人们想到艾滋病，可能会忽略另一个受害严重的群体----儿童。

　　艾滋病正带给儿童前所未有的威胁。全球1/6的艾滋病相关疾病死亡和1/7的新发感染HIV是15岁以下儿童。每一天的每一分钟就有一个15岁以下儿童死于艾滋病相关疾病，每15秒就有一名15-24岁的青年人感染艾滋病病毒。

艾滋病和儿童真的不相干吗？

　　艾滋病无情地侵袭着世界的每个角落，没有国界，无论贫富。在艾滋病感染率超过人口总数1%的54个国家里，艾滋病直接影响着数百万的儿童、青少年和青年人。在受艾滋病打击最严重的国家，卫生系统正在逐渐失去它治疗和照顾儿童及家庭的能力。由于教师患病和死亡，学校的功能也逐渐削弱。无论男女，由于重病农民都丧失了劳动能力。受艾滋病影响的家庭由于越来越高的医药花费而不得不变卖家产，陷入更深的贫穷。即使那些家人没有感染上艾滋病病毒的儿童也时常因艾滋病失去老师、同学、邻居和自己崇拜的人。

　　各国政府和国际社会都在跟踪艾滋病的流行趋势，预测艾滋病未来流行状况方面取得了重要进展。现在多数国家已经拟定了大规模的艾滋病预防计划。在艾滋病治疗方法方面已经取得了快速进展，并且治疗费用已经大大降低。在2004-2005年间次撒哈拉非洲地区接受艾滋病治疗的人数增加了三倍。

    迎战艾滋的政治领导作用正在加强。2002-2004年全球用于艾滋病防治的资金增长了两倍。中低收入国家用于艾滋病项目的资金1996年为300美元，到2004年增加到大约61亿美元。

　　●　越来越多的父母正在由于艾滋病濒临死亡，即将留下感染了病毒、饱受伤害、面临各种威胁的脆弱儿童，而且已经留下了大量的孤儿。

　　●　越来越多的儿童在心理上承受着父母、监护人或老师患病和去世的巨大伤痛。

　　然而在艾滋病防治的战略规划、政策制定和资金分配时，儿童的需要往往被忽视了。同时，针对儿童预防艾滋病的投资仍然少得可怜。

　　整整一代的儿童青少年从未见过没有艾滋病的世界。他们很快将继承上一代留下的抗击艾滋病的重负。虽然他们在艾滋病病毒感染方面是一个最为脆弱的群体，但他们比成人更容易改变自身的行为。

　　然而儿童和青少年中很少有人知道如何避免艾滋病的威胁。如果他们知道，那么他们完全可以成为抗击艾滋病的重要伙伴。整个世界应该立即采取行动，以免下一代从童年走向青年，长大成人的过程中，免受艾滋病的侵袭。
