陈竺部长会见联合国艾滋病规划署执行主任西迪贝

2011年7月8日上午，卫生部部长陈竺会见了联合国副秘书长、联合国艾滋病规划署执行主任米歇尔·西迪贝（Michel Sidibé）。双方就中国和全球艾滋病防治形势和策略交换了意见。
陈竺感谢西本人及联合国系统多年来对中国艾滋病防控事业的支持和帮助。他赞赏联合国艾滋病规划署在全球遏制艾滋病蔓延方面所作的贡献，并支持实现无艾滋病新发感染、无歧视和无艾滋病相关死亡的“三个零”全球性战略目标。他强调，中国政府支持非政府组织参与艾滋病防控工作，并将进一步扩大抗病毒治疗范围，降低死亡率。
西迪贝祝贺中国艾滋病防治取得的积极成就，赞赏中国在促进非政府组织参与艾滋病防控方面所做的努力，希望中国开展与非洲等发展中国家、新兴经济体的合作，加强政策交流、技术协作，共同提升医药创新能力，为促进全球艾滋病防控作出贡献。

July 8, 2011 morning, Health Minister Chen Zhu met with UN Deputy Secretary-General, UNAIDS Executive Director Michel Sidibe (Michel Sidibé). The two sides on the global AIDS situation in China and exchanged views and strategies.
Chen Zhu, I thank the West for many years in China and the United Nations system support for the cause of AIDS prevention and assistance. He appreciated the United Nations AIDS Programme at the global spread of the epidemic, the contribution and support of new infections of AIDS-free, non-discriminatory and non-AIDS-related deaths of "three zero" global strategic objectives. He stressed that the Chinese government supports the participation of NGOs in AIDS prevention and control, and will further expand the scope of anti-viral treatment to reduce mortality.
Sidibe congratulated China on the positive achievements of AIDS, praised China for the promotion of non-governmental organizations involved in AIDS prevention and control efforts, carried out with the hope that China and other developing countries in Africa, the emerging economies to strengthen policy exchanges, technology collaboration, thereby enhancing the ability of medical innovation, to contribute to promoting the global AIDS prevention and control.
