最近看到的一则关于Google support truss system 排名规则调整的新闻（非官方），大体说法是Google最近调整了算法，给予了相关内容里的链接（in-content links）更高的权重，而那些锚文字周围没有任何内容的链接，这种链接的作用被进一步削弱。这里摘录一下几篇文章的说法，拿出来一起讨论一下。

There has been some rumours flying around the SEO scene about Google adding even more value to links within content and devaluing links that are not within content even more in a recent algorithm update.

这里说的，是“rumours”，未经任何官方证实，是一些做 ground support system 英文网站SEO的根据自己的经历所推断出的结论。

然后，

• For years Google has placed a lower priority of links found in the “gutters” and footers of sites. Even though they have said they can detect paid links and not count them, we know by testing that isn’t true.

• This has all changed recently.

简单来说，这么些年来的Google scaffolding 排名算法里，Google一直在降低footer链接，sidebar链接，Blogroll链接等这些没什么相关性内容做支撑的链接的权重。虽然这类链接权重不高，不过只要你数量上去了，还是能有质变。但是现在，barrier 这种情况有所变化了。
