全球有望实现艾滋病的控制目标

本报纽约3月9日电（记者卞晨光）全球抗击艾滋病、结核病和疟疾基金发布的年度报告称，如果世界各国对防控这三种疾病的投资水平能够得以维持或进一步提高的话，则全球有望在2015年消除经母婴传播感染艾滋病，并使结核病的发病率和死亡率减半，以及在10年内消除疟疾流行国家中该病对公共健康构成的威胁等三个疾病控制目标。
全球基金表示，要巩固这些进展，如期实现国际社会在防控这三种疾病方面设定的目标，捐助国需要不断地增加对于防控工作的资金支持。今年10月，全球基金第三次集资会议将在纽约召开，届时该基金将呼吁捐助国为2011年至2013年的工作提供支持，并希望捐助国对此作出积极回应。根据统计，截止到去年12月，得到全球基金资助的项目共为250万人提供了艾滋病治疗，为600万人提供了抗结核治疗，并且在世界各地发放了1亿多顶用于预防疟疾的蚊帐，避免了490万人因罹患这些疾病而死亡。
