现任上海国丰酒店总经理，拥有20多年的酒店管理经验，2004年加入国丰集团，先后在伦敦参与管理The Tower 和The Cumberland，并任Thistle Marble Arch总经理。

Taking the helm of the Guoman Shanghai is General Manager Suat Binkaya, whose 20 year's of experience as an innovator in high-end international hospitality makes him the ideal person to spearhead Guoman's high standards of service in Asia.

Mr. Binkaya joined Guoman in May 2004, already having gained a decade's experience in international hospitality. Born in Europe, but having lived in London for over 15 years, Mr. Binkaya exemplifies the international spirit and culture of the city.

His respective two-year stints at Guoman properties The Tower and The Cumberland, both in London, as Front of House Manager are littered with examples of his proactive approach and constant pushing of himself and his staff to new heights.

Standing out as an exemplar of hospitality leadership, in May 2008, Mr. Binkaya was made Hotel Manager and, a year later, acting General Manager of the 692-room Thistle Marble Arch, in the heart of London's West End. Mr. Binkaya's strategic thinking and hands-on-approach played a vital role in ensuring that the hotel exceeded its targets, even at a time of global economic uncertainty.

His outstanding achievements at Thistle Marble Arch made him the perfect candidate for taking a leading role at the Guoman Shanghai.

Although Mr. Binkaya's time has recently been consumed by his commitment to ensuring the continuing success of the Guoman Shanghai, in his free moments he enjoys indulging his passion for watching sports, particularly football and as any Londoner visits to the West End shows…although it’s a bit of a commute nowadays. He can also be found unwinding over a game of billiards with friends. Not only a stronger leader, but also a respectful father of 2 boys, he treasures every moment he spends with his family.
