感染者身份保密
目前，这名演员的身份与性别还未公布，他(她)是美国成人娱乐业医疗保健基金会诊所的一名病人，这个位于美国加利福尼亚州圣费尔南多山谷的诊所是为了保障成人娱乐业从业者健康而设立的。诊所发言人詹妮弗-米勒(Jennifer Miller)告诉媒体，他们现在正在努力追踪和这位演员发生过性行为的人员。
从业者缺乏保护措施

艾滋病传播途径
